The lab is equipped with a biochemistry machine, electrolyte machine, hematology machine and centrifuge which can carry out an array of tests. Blood biochemistry can be analyzed to check for many diseases including liver disease, kidney disease and diabetes mellitus. Blood hematology also analyses the different blood cells and the amount present within the sample giving indications of infection, anemia and dehydration.
