A native of Georgia, Dr. Awadalla attended the State University of New York at Geneseo and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Mathematics in 2004. She continued her education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine from 2004 to 2006. She next completed a clinical year at Auburn University and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
Dr. Awadalla’s professional interests include surgery and emergency medicine. She worked in the Capital district for 3 years as an Associate Veterinarian prior to becoming primarily involved with emergency medicine where she has truly found her calling. She has been part of the NAEC family first as a part time veterinarian and most recently as a member of our FT clinical staff since early 2013. Dr. Awadalla is also an experienced equestrian and participates in dressage and jumping events. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and traveling. She resides at home with fiancé Ben, her Doberman Pinshcer Atlas and big girl Leia the Mastiff and her two cats
