Dr. Olivia Busuttil-Cashman grew up on Long Island before making the Adirondacks her permanent residence. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Science in 2003 and a B.S. in Biology in 2005 from SUNY Plattsburgh. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and after finishing clinical rotations at Cornell University Hospital for Animals. She completed a clinical internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialties in 2011 focusing on critical care prior to moving back to the North Country and joining the NAEC family.

Dr. Busuttil-Cashman has a great interest in caring for our senior patients and truly believes that combination therapy can help these patients achieve a comfortable way to live out their senior years. In order to be able to offer her patients the best of both western and eastern therapies she attended the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Busuttil-Cashman resides with her husband Michael, her 2 bouncy pups, Valcour and Jo and her old man Trotter the beagle.  While not at work she enjoys spending time outside hiking the Adirondack high peaks and creating beautiful knot and crochet projects
